Warranty

Trend Lighting is committed to delivering lighting products that offer industry leading quality, performance and reliability. We back our commitment to these values by offering an extended warranty for each luminaire, as outlined below.

Trend Lighting is pleased to provide a limited warranty of 3 years from date of supply for Trend For Trade. Trend For Trade products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the described period after the date of delivery to the original purchaser. If any product becomes defective Trend Lighting shall have no responsibility for any labour charges relating to the installation and reinstallation of any products.

Inclusions and Limitations

Any products found to be defective within the warranty period set forth above will be repaired or replaced, at the option of Trend Lighting without charge, provided that

1. Proof of Purchase with proof of purchase date is supplied
2. Evidence of installation by a qualified electrician is supplied.
3. The product was purchased from Trend Lighting or an authorized distributor of Trend Lighting.
4. The product was not operating under abnormal, excessive or unusual operating conditions.
5. The product was not misused, damaged or subject to negligent use.
6. The product was not repaired, altered, tampered with or modified by any person without written consent from Trend Lighting.
7. The product failure is a result of a defect in material or workmanship and was not the result of damage due to use other than intended use.

If a product does not comply with the above provisions, all forgoing warranties applicable thereto shall lapse and become null and void. 
Any parts replaced during the warranty period will become property of Trend Lighting. All warranty service will not extend beyond the stated warranty period and any repair service or parts replacement will be chargeable after the warranty period has expired. This limited warranty is provided only to the first purchaser and is not transferrable.

Implied Warranties: Consequential Damages Excluded

Trend Lighting shall not be responsible for, nor does this warranty extend to consequential damage or incidental damage or expenses, relating to the product sold, including, without limitation, injury to persons or property or loss of use.
There are no other warranties expressed or implied other than those expressed herein. Further, there are no implied warranties, including the warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond the warranty period specifically set forth above.

The luminaires and drivers sold by Trend Lighting are designed and tested to ensure maximum compatibility with dimming devices and power circuits. However, Trend Lighting cannot guarantee or warrant against external factors such as Ripple Current (Zellweger Tone) which can impact mains power supply causing adverse effect on lighting circuits and dimming functionality.
